Close-up magic works particularly well at company parties, Christmas events, dinners, networking events and client hospitality.
It can help break the ice as guests arrive, get people from different teams talking and keep the atmosphere going during the natural pauses in a dinner or evening event.
There’s no stage or complicated setup required. I work around the plans you already have, creating entertainment that feels like part of the event rather than another item on the running order.
For larger events, longer requirements or occasions where additional coverage would improve the experience, I can recommend the most appropriate format and arrange an additional professional magician where required.

Nobody wants to book entertainment and then spend the evening worrying about whether their guests are going to be embarrassed.
That’s not my style.
My performances are friendly, contemporary and interactive. Guests can become part of the magic without becoming the butt of the joke.

A one-hour booking may be perfect for a defined part of the occasion. Larger events may benefit from magic across a drinks reception, dinner or several parts of the day or evening.

CAN YOU PERFORM DURING A MEAL?
Yes.
Close-up magic can work particularly well around the tables between courses or over coffee and dessert.
I work around the catering rather than competing with it, moving to tables when the timing is right.
WILL PEOPLE BE PUT ON THE SPOT?
No.
My style is interactive but friendly. I want your guests laughing and enjoying themselves, not feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed.
